Ever since our first consultation, Charlie has been very attentive and supportive to all my needs and doubts.  She has a deep understanding about nutrition.  Her kindness and patience has given me the support and encouragement I needed to easily follow my personalised nutrition plan.

One week after our first nutrition consultation I started personal training sessions.  She is a truly focused trainer who kept challenging and motivating me whilst understanding my personal limits.

I became Charlie’s client in March 2015 and after our initial consultation and weigh in I decided to do something kind for myself and sign up to her coaching plan and nutrition program. In six months I have dropped two dress sizes losing five kilos and 7cms from my hips and each thigh, amongst other exciting statistics! But whilst I started off wanting to achieve great stats, I have now blossomed in terms of overall wellbeing, happy disposition, energy and knowledge and realise that it is not about numbers. Charlie has coached me every step of the way providing recipes and even coming to my kitchen and teaching me how to prep healthy food to stay on track. I now know what to do with Chia seeds!I look forward to learning even more from Charlie as she continues to develop new recipes and I gain more confidence around cooking nutritious meals. “After three weeks, ALL of my symptoms were gone and, even more importantly, I now have the kind of energy I haven’t in a very long time.”

TaraMy name is Tara and I am a national athlete representing the USA for touch rugby in the World cup.

I went to see Charlie for a nutrition consultation for two main reasons. Firstly, I was suffering from a host of gastrointestinal symptoms (daily stomach cramps, acid reflux, nausea, etc.) and secondly, I was constantly incredibly tired and felt unable to keep up with both work and exercise. Charlie asked me to complete a 3-day food log before we met and came to the first session having fully analyzed and broken down my eating habits.

She was able, in a single session, to make simple, concrete and easy to follow changes to my diet. Charlie was encouraging, supportive and very importantly (to me!), able to provide scientific explanations for each of her recommendations.

I have a heavy training schedule for an upcoming rugby tournament and she was able to tailor her recommendations for my level of activity. I only saw Charlie once (I don’t live in Singapore for most of the year) but felt better after just a week. After three weeks, ALL of my symptoms were gone and even more importantly, I now have the kind of energy I haven’t in a very long time.

Not only am I not tired (and not napping every day!), I am able to train much harder and am performing better. With her suggestions, I was also able to drop body fat significantly in about a month. I really appreciated that Charlie followed up the day after with a full written report about what we had discussed during the session. Even better, she followed up about 3 weeks later just to check how the changes were going. I am now following her 6 week personalized plan to get into optimal shape.

No matter what level of nutrition advice you need, I would absolutely recommend seeing Charlie!

My name is Christina, and I began training with Charlie in June of 2014. My goal was add more exercise to my weekly workouts (90 min Pilates class and 12k hike), in order to improve my endurance, stamina and get into better shape. From day one Charlie guided and educated me on my fitness journey, equipping me with mental toughness to push myself to reach my goals. Charlie understands the importance of nutrition and, unlike most trainers, tailors what you need to eat to obtain your goals.

I already had very good eating habits however I was absolutely not aware that I was under eating and that this was the reason why I lacked energy. Charlie prepared a personalized nutritional plan which was easy to follow, and I now eat bigger portions, even eating carbohydrates (which I had avoided!) and incorporating protein at every meal. I’ve lost weight and dropped my body fat percentage, while increasing my strength and cardio levels.

I now have a lot more energy and am in better shape mentally and physically than in my 40’s. Charlie has a great style– is kind, compassionate and understanding, yet pushes you to achieve your goals. She truly cares about your personal well-being and is very supportive and motivating.

Initially, it was all about weight loss, but Charlie educated me on the importance of having a healthy body rather than just weighing less on the scale. She said, “what good is it if you look great aesthetically on the outside but inside your body hides a high percentage of body fat?” This message rang true to me.
