About Me
I am a Holistic Nutritionist, Culinary Nutrition Expert, Personal Trainer & Yoga Teacher. I am also a Graduate of Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice.
I am currently studying for a Master of Science (MSc) in Personalised Nutrition with the University of Middlesex.
As a professional member with the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) and a registered member with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) I follow their strict code of conduct to ensure best practice.
My Journey
My own healing journey started with hormone related weight gain, and compromised health in my children. This was followed by life changing events that manifested itself as stress, anxiety and nutritional deficiencies. I embarked on a personal and educational mission to heal myself and my family and continue to do so because it’s a journey & not a destination.
I have come to realize that health is not stagnant and good health is not just the absence of disease. Optimal health is a balance of the complex interplay between physical, mental, emotional, chemical and spiritual elements that need continuous nourishment for life and longevity; and diet is the cornerstone of this.
I have watched the power of nutrition, fitness and yoga improve my family’s health and transform my own health markers and body composition by using food as medicine.
I have trained in Applied Culinary Nutrition under the esteemed Matthew Kenney Culinary as well as The Academy of Culinary Nutrition and Genomics Kitchen.
